Lovers of the breathtakingly picturesque Amalfi Coast will adore staying in this stunning villa, built on top of an ancient imperial villa, perched on the cliffs of Sorrento overlooking the bay of Naples. Villa Astor is a truly extraordinary private residence set in arguably one of the most beautiful gardens in Italy: a botanical garden of some 20,000 square metres designed by Sir William Waldorf Astor in this, his former home. Lovingly renovated by renowned French architect and interior designer Jacques Garcia, surrounded by Greek and Roman statues and other ancient artefacts, the villa and its grounds will give you a real flavour of the lavish opulence of the ancient world.

There’s also a swimming pool located in the fragrant gardens or take a stroll to Sorrento’s lively town centre a mere five minutes or so away on foot.
