Ibiza

Ibiza is the party capital of the world, but venture off the tourist trail and you will find a beautiful and tranquil island with a hippie soul.

Located in the Mediterranean Sea, midway between Mallorca and the coast of Valencia, Ibiza is Spain’s most famous and happening island. Renowned for its legendary party scene, it plays host to some of the world’s best nightclubs and chill-out beach bars. It is here where celebrities can be spotted sailing around on their shimmering yachts every summer, DJ’s come to spin their hottest mixes, and clubbers from all corners of the globe descend for the ultimate electronic music experience.

Epic parties aside, the third largest of the Balearic Islands is an alluring mix of bohemian hangouts, secret coves, and postcard-worthy beaches lapped by clear blue waters. Dalt Vila, Ibiza’s UNESCO-listed Old Town, is a joy to explore, with its narrow cobbled streets, impressive bastions and magnificent panoramic views. The chill-out bars and cafes lining the coast of San Antonio are the place to be for mesmerizing sunsets and soothing Balearic beats.

Ibiza is teeming with luxury villas, from idyllic rural fincas to the hippest beachside properties in the Mediterranean. Shopping here is pure therapy, with lots of quirky boutiques selling everything from high-end designer fashion and Ibizan style clothing to unique art and handmade goods.

With an average of 300 days of sunshine a year, Ibiza is a paradise for walking, cycling and diving. Spring and autumn are ideal for visiting, especially if you want to experience the quieter side of the island and enjoy the many outdoor activities on offer.
